Pinki Shah brings a powerful blend of academic rigor and grassroots innovation to Junction Bangladesh. Over a stellar 17-year tenure at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB)—where she served as a Professor, Academic Council member, and head of major co-curricular and quality assurance initiatives—she mastered the art of building community capacity, mentoring diverse talent, and developing robust institutional frameworks. Her published research spans economics, finance, sustainability, and economic empowerment.
An active voice in the global social innovation landscape, Pinki works across communities in Canada and Bangladesh to empower youth, newcomers, and early-stage founders. As the founder of the Recycling Art Cafe, she directly demonstrates how creative business design and upcycling can generate green livelihoods. At Junction, Pinki leverages human-centered design thinking and strategic guidance to help innovators navigate the journey from raw concepts to investment-ready, socially impactful outcomes.
